- All cards support RAID-0, RAID1, RAID 0+1
and JBOD. The SuperTrak SX6000
supports RAID-3 as well.
- The ATA-100 and ATA-133 columns list
the number of independent data channels.
Each channel typically supports two disk drives,
though Promise
recommends using just one drive
per channel for maximum performance. SATA-150
supports one drive per port.
- Pro kits allow hot swap of a failed drive
and rebuild data in background for
continuous PC operation. Some kits include
hot-swap drive enclosures.
- Arrays
are convertible (can change RAID Level) and
expandable (can add disk drives) on the SX4000
and S150 SX4, but not on the SX4000 Lite.
- Price listed is lowest price found on
Pricewatch.com on January 8, 2003.
